Technical Workshop – Milan

ASSTRA and Ecopneus, with the contribution of Vie en.ro.se. Ingegneria, organized the Technical Workshop of the project that took place on May 8 and 9, 2025, in Milan, at Palazzo Isimbardi. The event was divided into two days full of presentations and discussions on current topics regarding the use of recycled rubber for noise remediation and the results achieved so far in the project. The afternoon session on May 8, titled "RECYCLED RUBBER AND NOISE REMEDIATION: SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS AMONG PROJECTS, EXPERIENCES, AND CASE STUDIES," delved into the topic of recycled rubber, with experiences from various European projects and industry experts. The morning session on May 9, titled "THE LIFE SNEAK PROJECT: COMBINED INTERVENTIONS FOR NOISE AND VIBRATION REDUCTION IN URBAN CONTEXTS," focused on the results obtained from the LIFE SNEAK project. In particular, after a general presentation of the objectives and a brief analysis of the state of the art of the project topics, new solutions regarding pavement for noise and vibration mitigation and bogie skirts were presented, as well as the results of post-operam noise and vibration measurement campaigns both indoors and outdoors. The session concluded with the presentation of the project's dissemination and communication activities.
